The LG tech was not sure if it was my set up, a flaw in the players software or the way the discs were mastered by the BBC. with the players audio output in the player's settings set to auto, no sound on the features shows with these discs, if the output was changed to PCM audio the discs worked as expected.

I have a sound bar with optical connection to the tv set. I called LG for help, thinking it was a problem with how the player was dealing with the audio on the disc. The sound would not play on the shows but was playing on the intro sequence and the main menu screen. the 4K and HDR really make the shows look very vibrant and very enjoyable to watch.I did have one issue with all the discs my 4K blue ray set playing in my LG UBK90 player.
