It started with the creation of a selection committee with representation from across the Faculty of Engineering. Sheardown’s appointment came at the successful end of a global search process that began in January 2022. The dean is also responsible for cultivating connections with the Engineering profession and for leading the accreditation of the Faculty’s 19 engineering programs.
